Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is an SSLC Percentage Calculator?
It’s a tool that helps you calculate your SSLC percentage. For Kerala SSLC, it converts grades (like A+, B) into a percentage. For Karnataka SSLC, it calculates the percentage from your marks. It’s simple and quick!
How do I calculate my Kerala SSLC percentage?
Enter your grades (A+, A, B+, etc.) for all 10 subjects. The calculator uses the Total Grade Point (TGP) method and multiplies it by 1.11 to give your percentage. For example, if your TGP is 70, your percentage is 70 × 1.11 = 77.7%.
How do I calculate my Karnataka SSLC percentage?
Enter your marks for all 6 subjects (each out of 100). The calculator adds them up and divides by 600, then multiplies by 100. For example, if you score 540 marks, your percentage is (540/600) × 100 = 90%.
Is the percentage 100% accurate?
For Kerala, the percentage is an estimate because grades (like A+) cover a range (90–100%). For exact marks, check with Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan. For Karnataka, it’s accurate if you enter correct marks.
What is the passing mark for SSLC?
In Kerala, you need at least a D+ grade (30% marks) in each subject. In Karnataka, you need at least 35% marks in each subject. Our calculator shows if you’ve passed or failed.
Can I use this calculator for other boards like CBSE?
Right now, it supports only Kerala and Karnataka SSLC boards. For CBSE, you can calculate manually by dividing total marks by maximum marks and multiplying by 100.
Why should I download my result?
Downloading your result gives you a text file with your grades/marks, percentage, and pass/fail status. It’s useful for keeping records or sharing with colleges.
